On ShinyMarket.fr, certain items are available for pre-order. These products are generally related to the world of Trading Card Games (TCGs), often in limited editions, subject to high demand or fluctuations in value.

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products whose price is likely to fluctuate on the market or which are part of limited series. Consequently, pre-orders of this type are firm and final.

If a product does not meet these legal exclusion criteria, the right of withdrawal remains applicable.

1. What is a pre-order?

Pre-ordering allows you to reserve a product before its official release. It guarantees the item's availability as soon as it goes on sale, which is particularly useful for limited or highly anticipated series.

On ShinyMarket.fr, pre-orders include:

  • Special Edition Box Sets
  • Sealed displays
  • Elite Trainer Boxes (ETB)
  • Exclusive extensions or collections

Pre-orders may also include exclusive benefits or preferential rates.

2. How do pre-orders work?

2.1 Product identification

Affected products are clearly marked "Pre-Order." An estimated release date is indicated on the product sheet. This date is subject to change by the manufacturer without notice.

2.2 Payment

Payment is taken at the time of ordering to guarantee the product reservation. It is possible to combine in-stock and pre-order products in the same basket.

2.3 Confirmation

Once your pre-order is validated, you will receive a confirmation email. A second email containing a tracking link will be sent to you upon shipment.

3. Delivery of pre-orders

3.1 Deadlines

The dates indicated on the website are those provided by the manufacturers and are subject to change. If a change occurs, you will be notified by email.

3.2 Group delivery

If your order contains both immediately available and pre-order products, the entire order will be shipped once all items are available. To avoid delays, we recommend placing two separate orders.

3.3 Monitoring

The status of your pre-order can be viewed at any time from your customer account, under "My orders".

4. Modification or cancellation of a pre-order

4.1 Modification

You can change some information (e.g., shipping address) as long as the product has not been shipped. Simply contact our customer service at support@shinymarket.fr .

4.2 Cancellation

Pre-orders are in principle non-cancellable if they concern products subject to the exceptions provided for by law (limited edition, speculative value, etc.).

In all other cases, you can cancel a pre-order up to 7 days before the official release date. After this period, no cancellations will be accepted except in cases of force majeure.

5. Return of pre-ordered products

Returns of pre-ordered products follow the same procedure as for other products. However:

  • Opened or unsealed items, such as boosters, cannot be returned
  • Limited edition collectible items are not subject to the right of withdrawal.

A return is only possible if the products meet all the conditions set out in our Returns Policy.

When will I receive my pre-order?
On the estimated date mentioned on the product sheet. A notification will be sent to you at the time of shipment.

What if the release is delayed?
We will inform you by email and update the information on the product sheet.

Can I combine in-stock and pre-order products?
Yes, but shipping will occur once all products are available. To separate deliveries, place two separate orders.

Can I change my pre-order?
Yes, as long as the product has not been shipped. Contact us promptly at support@shinymarket.fr .

Can I cancel a pre-order?
Only if it does not fall under the legal exclusions provided for in Article L221-28. In this case, you can cancel it up to 7 days before the planned release date.
